In order to mount the button, it is necessary to create a hole or recess in the wall with a diameter of 29.5 mm (for SH-45E)/60 mm (for SH-45TE)/59 mm (for SH-47T). Additionally, make sure to prepare a power cable, additional modules, and a local network connection.

While the proximity button is designed to be waterproof and dustproof with an IP68 rating, it is still recommended to avoid outdoor installation if there's a possibility of rainfall in your area. This is to prevent any false positives caused by a dense wall of rain in front of the button. To avoid unintentional activation of the button sensors during rainfall, it's crucial to install the proximity button in a way that ensures the dense rain wall extends no closer than 800 mm from the button's face.
