Identifiers
Manage all identifiers linked to users, cards, access codes, mobile apps, or license plates — add new ones, review existing, or revoke outdated.
View details such as owner, type, number, validity period, and access restrictions. Use the Edit and Delete buttons to modify or remove individual identifiers.
How to add an identifier
Go to the Identifiers tab in the Access management section.
Click ➕ icon in the lower-right corner.
Enter the identifier name — use a clear, descriptive name.
E.g. Warehouse — Staff badge, Garage entry — Tesla Model 3, Guest QR — Weekend visitor.Assign a user — select the user for whom this ID is intended.
Select the identifier type (pay attention to a device characteristics) and enter its value:
Card: EM-Marin or Mifare. Enter the number in decimal format without commas. Usually, the number is printed on the card in decimal or hexadecimal format. You can convert the value between systems;
UKEY: allows using smartphones as identifiers via the BAS-IP UKEY;
Access code: a numeric code that must be entered on the panel keypad to open the lock;
Face ID: allows opening the lock by scanning the visitor face. Upload a .jpeg photo with good lighting and real proportions.
Face recognition settings and compatibility vary between models. On AA-14FBS, the algorithm and sensor logic differ from AA-14FB, so identifiers created for one model may not work on another. Always configure Face ID directly for each panel model.
Photo requirements:
Front-facing full-face image, open eyes;
Head visible from top of hair to shoulders, face ≈80% of frame;
Neutral background;
Even lighting, no shadows;
JPEG format, 320×240px to 5120×2700 px.
QR Code: enable Download QR code. It will be saved after the identifier is saved. Then transfer it to the mobile device.
License plate can be added and used to open the lock. Enter the plate number in the Identifier field to enable automatic access via ALPR cameras — review camera compatibility and setup steps.
If necessary, enable and configure optional restrictions:
Validity period — define when the identifier is active;
Passes restriction — limit how many times the identifier can be used.
If necessary, assign an access restriction to define where and when the identifier can be used:
Select an existing restriction using the icon, or click to create a new one;
If no restriction is selected, the system will apply the default rule assigned to the user group.
Access restrictions link users, groups, and devices.
They are required only when the identifier needs unique access settings.
Without a restriction, group-level access is used automatically.
Click 💾 Save in the bottom-right corner.
After saving, the identifier is automatically sent to the devices indicated in the selected access restriction. To verify synchronization status, go to the Synchronization tab in the device section.
Identifiers filtering
There is a filter by value, name, ID type, owner, the date the identifier was used or created and is the identifier valid. So, you can configure a flexible data display and quick search. To do this, you need to click the Add filter button and set the necessary parameter/s. For some searches, results can equal your search (so to be exactly as you indicate), or they can be less or great than your parameter, e.g. search less than indicated date will display all identifiers used before the date. You can select a few parameters and choose whether the results will match all filters or any of them.
In addition, you can save your search parameters for further use by clicking the corresponding button. All saved parameters are displayed after clicking the Segments button.
How to revoke an identifier from a user
There are 2 ways to revoke an identifier to withdraw user access to a secured area:
👉 Option 1 via User Management:
Open the User management tab.
Find the user from which you need to remove the identifier and click edit their data.
In the Identifier section, find the ID you need to withdraw and delete it. You can delete both user identifiers and guest identifiers provided by the user.
You can also use quick navigation between user profiles and identifier details — click on the identifier name to open its profile or on the user name to return to the profile view.
Click the Save button in the right low corner.
👉 Option 2 via Identifier Details:
Go to the Identifiers tab.
Find the needed identifier and open it by clicking the ✏️ Edit button.
Click Actions → Recall.
Revocation will fail if you remove access rules from a user or user group — guest identifiers will continue to work. Use only one of the above methods to ensure full access removal.
