How to upload a contact book with individual tenant numbers?
To enable calls not by apartment number but directly to each resident individual number — including mobile numbers defined in user profiles — activate the resident-based phonebook feature.
Residents must be listed in the phonebook under their full names — first and last name. This configuration allows call forwarding to mobile devices, bypassing the traditional apartment-based routing logic.
Enable contact upload for residents
To send resident contacts to call devices, activate this feature:
Go to Settings → General → SIP Settings tab.
Scroll to Send resident contact list to facility call devices and Enable the checkbox.
Confirm activation in the informational pop-up — this action overrides the default contact book logic based on apartment numbers.
Click Confirm.
Enable display of residents for a specific group
Go to User management → Object groups tab.
Find the group and click ••• → Edit.
Make sure the group type is Building.
Displaying residents instead of apartment numbers on call panel contact lists is only available for groups with the type Building.
Enable the checkbox Display facility call devices contact book as a list of residents.
Click 💾 Save in the bottom-right corner.
After enabling this feature, master numbers will be created for all users within the Building-type group and its child groups — if they have a phone number specified in their user card or an active mobile app session.
Set up call forwarding to resident contacts
Go to Telephony settings → Virtual numbers tab.
Find the resident number in the list and click ✏️ Edit next to it.
In the Forward settings block, check or add virtual/phone numbers to the queue.
Click 💾 Save in the bottom-right corner.
Sync contacts to panels
Once master numbers are created, a background task will automatically send contact data to the panels located in the user group or higher-level groups:
Go to Device management → Queue tasks tab.
Check for tasks like Update panel contact book.
Confirm the task completes with no errors.
Verify display on the panel
To confirm that resident data has been correctly applied to the panel interface, open the device and check how the names appear in the contact list:
Access the panel web interface (e.g., AA-14FB).
Go to Apartments tab.
Check that Apartment name shows the resident name (e.g., Sophie Gagnon, Make Wilson).
Allow use of phone number for call forwarding
To ensure the resident phone number is used in master number forwarding, allow call forwarding from their user card:
Go to User management → Users tab.
Find the resident and click ✏️ Edit.
Check or enter a valid phone number.
Enable the checkbox Use phone in forwards.
Click 💾 Save in the bottom-right corner.
The phone number will not be used for forwarding unless it is specified in the user card and the Use phone in forwards checkbox is enabled.
A master number will be created if the user has either a phone number with the checkbox enabled, or an active mobile app session.
✽ Remove resident contact book, if needed
To remove resident contact books from panels, you can:
disable the resident list in a specific group: User management → Object groups → ••• → Edit → uncheck Display facility call devices contact book as a list of residents → Save;
turn off global upload: Settings → General → SIP Settings → uncheck Send resident contact list to facility call devices → Confirm → Delete tenant forwarding rules from server and devices;
remove the phone number or uncheck Use phone in forwards in the user card — only works if no active mobile app session;
delete the mobile session directly in the Mobile app clients block of the user card by clicking the 🗑️ icon. This will stop master number generation if the user has no phone number or the Use phone in forwards option is disabled.
Depending on your configuration, the system can display a resident-based contact book with GSM call forwarding alongside apartment-based routing. You can enable these features together or separately — the system supports flexible combinations.
