SIP configuration of an indoor video entry phone (monitor)
In the Intercom settings of a monitor interface or web interface, you can enable/disable the connection via SIP protocol and configure it.
How to configure SIP calls with the help of a monitor
1. Open the Intercom tab of the monitor setting menu.
2. Find the SIP section.
3. Enable SIP server functioning.
4. Enter all necessary information:
SIP server proxy;
Before the proxy address, you must enter "sip:", e.g. sip:gb.sip.bas-ip.com.
SIP server address (realm) that can be represented by both an IP address and a domain name;
server STUN IP address; (e.g. stun.l.google.com);
port of the STUN IP server;
STUN server 19302 port is used for Google.
login or the SIP number;
password for the number.
5. Save data.
How to configure SIP calls at a monitor with the help of the web interface
To configure the monitor remotely (through the web interface), you must connect to it via the Internet browser. The device must be connected to the same network as the PC from which you are going to configure it.
1. Enter the monitor IP address in the address line of the browser. You can check the IP address with software for device search and upgrade or at monitor settings (if data was previously indicated).
2. Enter the username and the password in the opened window. By default, the username is admin and the password is 123456.
3. Open the Intercom tab and find the SIP settings part.
4. Provide all necessary information:
SIP server proxy that can be represented by both an IP address and a domain name.
Data format:
Before the proxy address, you must enter "sip:", e.g. sip:us.sip.bas-ip.com. A full list of BAS-IP servers for each country is available here.
SIP server address that can be represented by both an IP address and a domain name, e.g. us.sip.bas-ip.com.
server STUN IP address. For example, stun.l.google.com;
port of the STUN server;
Note:
19302 port is used for the Google STUN server.
transport type: UDP/TCP/TLS;
Note:
UDP is good for speed and efficiency.
TCP is great for reliable IP-packet delivery.
TLS is best for encryption, authentication, data integrity, and secure SIP trunking.
maximum talk timeout;
user SIP number;
SIP user ID (optional);
password for SIP number;
enable/disable SIP early media.
