SIP configuration of an entrance panel
In the Panel settings of a device web interface, you can enable/disable the connection via SIP protocol and configure it.
How to configure SIP calls for an entrance panel with the help of the web interface
To configure the entrance panel remotely (through the web interface), you must connect to it via the Internet browser on your PC. The panel and PC from which you plan to access the device must be connected to the same network segment.
1. Enter the panel IP address in the browser address line. You can check the IP address with software for device search and upgrade.
2. Enter the username and the password in the opened window. By default, the username is admin, and the password is 123456.
3. Open the Panel tab and find the SIP settings part.
4. Provide all necessary information:
SIP server proxy;
Before the proxy address, you must enter "sip:", e.g. sip:gb.sip.bas-ip.com.
SIP server address (realm) that can be represented by both an IP address and a domain name;
server STUN IP address; (e.g. stun.l.google.com);
port of the STUN IP server;
STUN server 19302 port is used for Google.
user SIP number (up to 20 characters);
password for SIP number (up to 20 characters);
transport type: UDP/TCP/TLS.
Note:
UDP is good for speed and efficiency.
TCP is great for reliable IP-packet delivery.
TLS is best for encryption, authentication, data integrity, and secure SIP trunking.
You can enable the auto re-registration to renew the lost connection with the SIP server and enter the re-registration interval (from 5-600 seconds). The feature is recommended to use in networks with an unstable Internet connection. If necessary, you can re-register the device manually by clicking the appropriate button.
5. Save data.
