What types of motion sensors are compatible with Bas-IP monitors?

The main principle of appropriate sensors are:

• the sensor has 4 pins: it must have 2 contacts to close or open, and two contacts Power+ and Ground;

• the sensors can have 2 contacts if they are magnetically operated reed switches.

Also, the sensor on dry contacts, contacts on a solid state relay, or an optocoupler fit BAS-IP monitor.

For motion sensors, you can take the power from RS-485. It can provide 12V and up to 4 W, however, if you use sensors with a circuit board inside, then you need a separate power supply, not via bus.
