What format of SD cards do BAS-IP monitors support?

BAS-IP monitors with Android 6, 10 OS are compatible with SD3.0, MMC ver4.51. FAT32 format is preferred.

If you use an SD card with any other format or encrypted, the system will inform you about not being able to interact and suggest you reformat it.

For example, if you install a card formatted in exFAT into the monitor, the device will offer to convert it into the FAT32 format. To do this:

  1. Open the monitor system settings.

  2. Swipe from the top of the screen to open the status bar.

  3. Press the SD card to open its settings.

  4. Select the Use for Portable Storage option.

As a result, the monitor will format the card in FAT32 format.
