What to do if the RUT cannot find the device in the network?
BAS-IP devices work only over IPv4. If your computer and devices are in the same network but the tool doesn’t detect anything, try the following:
Open Network settings on your computer and find the Change adapter options section.
Right-click the network and select Properties option.
Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
Click Advanced…
Disable Automatic Metrics and set Interface metric to
1.Click OK to save and close all windows.
This forces your computer to prioritize the correct adapter for device discovery.
You may need to restart the Remote Upgrade Tool after applying these changes.
