How to roll back Linux-based panels v3.12.0 and monitors v1.22.0 to earlier firmware versions?

Restore full functionality of your Linux-based device if you need to downgrade to a firmware version earlier than v3.12.0 for panels or v1.22.0 for monitors.

Follow these steps to safely roll back and recover your data:

Before you start

  1. Download your backups — both the database and configuration files.

  2. Make sure you have the firmware version you want to install.

During the rollback

  1. Use the Remote Upgrade Tool to install the required earlier firmware version.

  2. Wait until the process completes — the panel will reboot automatically.

  3. After rollback, the panel will be available at the default IP address 192.168.1.90.

After the rollback

  1. Perform a factory reset to clear device settings after rolling back from a newer firmware.

  2. Reconfigure your network settings.

  3. Restore your database and configuration backups.

  4. Change all user and administrator passwords to ensure system security.

No additional actions are required when updating to version 3.12.0 or higher for panels or 1.22.0 or higher for monitors — just update, change your passwords, and continue using the device as usual.
