Scalability options

To avoid the need for costly rewiring of a building with an existing 2-wire intercom system and to quickly connect modern Linux or Android-based panels and monitors, refer to the scalability diagrams below. These diagrams help you identify the options that fit your specific scenario, understand the required hardware, and prevent system overload.

Configuration options for your project:

  • Connecting SW-02 devices to all 8 ports of an SW-10 switch is possible only if each endpoint has its own separate 12 V power supply. Otherwise, use one of the configurations below.

  • Cascading multiple SW-10 switches is only supported via UTP CAT 5/6 cables, not over the 2-wire line.

Single SW-10 configurations:

Setup 1
Up to 6 SP-03 devices or 5 other Linux-based devices — such as panels and monitors — powered via PoE from the SW-10.

Setup 2
Up to 4 AT-07 or other Android-based monitors powered via PoE from the SW-10.

Setup 3
A mixed setup: up to 4 Linux devices + 1 Android device.

[Diagram 3 coming soon]

Setup 4
If each device has its own 12 V power supply, all 8 SW-10 ports can be used without limitations — all 8 ports active.

Cascaded SW-10 configurations:

Setup 5
Up to 5 Linux-based devices powered via PoE from each SW-10 in the cascade.

Setup 6
Up to 4 Android-based devices powered via PoE from each SW-10 in the cascade.

If each device has its own separate 12 V power supply, all 8 ports of each SW-10 switch in the cascade can be used.
