Why I do not get push notifications about a call after a device and app configuration?

SIP service has undergone some changes and now lies in several geographic regions. All user accounts from sip.bas-ip.com were transferred to the European region.

The list of countries is added to the BAS-IP Intercom to simplify its configuration. You must choose your country, so there is no need to enter a domain name of a region server.

You need to make sure that the service domain in the device forwarding settings corresponds to the selected country or domain in the BAS-IP Intercom app.

Do I need to re-register on the server corresponding to my country?

No, you only need to change either previously indicated data in the forwarding table or country/server settings of BAS-IP Intercom.

What to do if I can not change an indoor video entry phone or an entrance panel settings?

If you are unable to change devices settings you can modify the Country section of your account in the BAS-IP Intercom app:

1st case: you are registered with sip.bas-ip.com server and for a monitor, panel, and BAS-IP Intercom you use a SIP number from the same server (for example, sip:12312@sip.bas-ip.com). In this case, you must choose Custom Domain for the Country section in the Intercom app. Thereby, sip.bas-ip.com must be indicated in the Domain field.

2nd case: you are registered with sip.bas-ip.com server and for monitor or panel use SIP number from the same server, but in the Intercom app, you use SIP number with specified server for your country (for example, sip:17312@gb.sip.bas-ip.com). In this case, you must choose Custom Domain for the Country section in the app. Thereby, sip.bas-ip.com must be indicated in the Domain field.

The same country settings you must indicate in case of SIP number registration in the app.

What do I need to change in the forwarding settings of an entrance panel for correct calls functioning?

If in BAS-IP Intercom you indicated a concrete country, you need to adjust SIP number/s in a forwarding table. You must indicate a server corresponding to the country indicated in the app for the number/s.

So, if in the app you choose France then in the Forward queue tab of the device web interface you must change the server address from sip.bas-ip.com to fr.sip.bas-ip.com. For example, the number sip:23984@sip.bas-ip.com must be changed into sip:23984@fr.sip.bas-ip.com.

Therefore, the updated forwarding table will look like this:

What do I need to change in monitor forwarding settings for correct call functioning?

If in BAS-IP Intercom you indicated a concrete country, you need to change a SIP number for forwarding. You must indicate a server corresponding to the country indicated in the app.

So, if in the Intercom app you choose France then in the Call forwarding part (Intercom tab) of the device web interface you must change the server address from sip.bas-ip.com to fr.sip.bas-ip.com. For example, the number sip:23984@sip.bas-ip.com must be changed into sip:21994@fr.sip.bas-ip.com.

Therefore, the updated forwarding table will look like this:

What do I need to change in the monitor for correct calls to the saved contacts?

If in BAS-IP Intercom you indicated a concrete country, you need to change a SIP number of a contact for correct call functioning. You must indicate a server corresponding to the country indicated in the app.

If in the app you choose France, so to call this number you must change the server address from sip.bas-ip.com to fr.sip.bas-ip.com in the contacts on a monitor. For example, the number sip:23984@sip.bas-ip.com must be changed into sip:21994@fr.sip.bas-ip.com.
