Electrical connection

After checking the completeness of the device, you can proceed to the connection.

To connect you will need:

  • Ethernet cable UTP cat5 or higher connected to a network switch / router.

Cable lenght recomendations

The maximum length of a UTP CAT5 cable segment must not exceed 100 meters, according to the IEEE 802.3 standard.

  • To connect the panel via PoE, you need to use a switch that works with 802.3 af support with a maximum power per port of no more than 15.4 watts.

When connecting the panel panel by PoE,it is prohibited to power the lock using panel's power. You must use a separate power supply, otherwise it may cause damage to the device.

  • Power supply at +12 Volt, 2 Ampere.

  • Wires must be brought for connecting the lock and additional modules (optional).

Below is the designation of all contacts on the panel.
