Opening delay time (for 8-pin module)

The delay module is equipped with a trimmer, which is responsible for the response time of the relay. This is the time at which the relays will switch from one position to another when the opening signal to them is received via the RS-485 interface, the Lock input, and the exit buttons are pressed.

The use of electromagnetic locks

When connecting electromagnetic locks, the trimming resistor needs to be rotated to the right, and adjust the delay time in the range of 4 to 8 seconds. If you need to use other values, this time can
set more or less recommended values, but not less than 2 seconds.

When setting the minimum delay time, the trimmer should not be left in the far left position. In this position, the movable contact of the resistor may be in an unstable state, which can lead to improper operation of the lock. To avoid this, after setting the minimum time, slightly turn the trimmer to the right by a few degrees. This will ensure stable operation of the lock and guarantee its correct functioning.

The use of electromechanical locks

When connecting electromechanical locks, the trimmer must be turned to the left, and the delay time is adjusted in the range of 0.5 to 1 second. If necessary, the time can be slightly increased, but it is absolutely not recommended to set this time for more than 2 seconds!

Before mounting the reader, it is necessary to provide a hole or recess in the wall with dimensions 96×152×46 mm (for flush mounting). Dimensions of the bracket (flush box) = 94×151×45 mm. It is also necessary to provide for the supply of power cable, add. modules and local network.

When setting the delay time for more than 2 seconds and using electromechanical locks as part of a system, it is likely that these locks will fail, due to the technological features of the design of the magnetic coils in these types of locks!
