IP camera viewing
To go to the IP cameras adding and viewing menu, press the second from the left button .
Before watching the stream from a camera, you must add this camera to the app.
How to add an IP camera by URL to an RTSP stream
Open the IP camera viewing menu in the BAS-IP Intercom app.
Press the Add camera button in the upper right corner.
Enter required data:
camera name, e.g. camera on the 1st floor;
RTSP URL of the camera stream. It is usually indicated in the installation instructions with the camera;
Example of the URL for RTSP stream:
rtsp://admin:123456@192.168.1.87:8554/ch01
It includes the username (admin), user password (123456), panel IP (192.168.1.87); a number of a camera access port (8554); channel number (ch01).
login for the camera (if necessary);
password for the camera (if necessary);
After entering the required data, press Add camera.
As a result, the camera is displayed in the list when opening the IP camera viewing menu.
How to add an IP camera using the Onvif protocol
Open the IP camera viewing menu in the BAS-IP Intercom app.
Press thr Add camera button in the upper right corner.
Press Onvif in the upper right corner.
Allow the app to find and connect to devices on your local network if the request appears.
Press Get streams in the upper right corner of a new window.
Select a necessary camera from the list of available ones.
Enter required data:
camera name, e.g. entrance camera;
login for the camera (if necessary);
password for the camera (if necessary);
Press Get streams again to select the video stream: mainstream with high quality or additional one with lower image quality. The stream with the best quality is usually numbered 0.
IP camera viewing
When pressing the camera name, you start watching the camera stream. During watching you can take a photo, adjust the volume, pause the video, and go to the camera settings to edit the entered data.
Deletion mode
By pressing (on the main menu screen) the first button in the upper right corner , you will open the deletion mode.
Icons meaning - to select camera/s; - to delete selected camera/s; - to exit the deletion mode. |
