Integration with Gallagher Security access control system

The integration is seamless, providing a user-friendly experience and improving overall security. The integration is done via SIP protocol, which enhances communication between the two systems. This means you can now control access to your building using Gallagher's powerful security features and manage intercom calls from the same platform.

Here you can download a configuration guide in .pdf format.

Command Centre Configuration Client

  1. To install the Command Centre SIP interface, refer to the SIP integration release note, which is available from the Command Centre software media, location: vEL8.90.xxxx\Utilities\SIP Service 8.90.23\Release Note SIP Integration v8.90).pdf

  2. Open the Command Center configuration client and click Configure > SIP.

  3. Right-click and select New SIP Device.

  4. Set a name in the General tab and then select the Setup tab.

  5. From the Device Type drop-down list, select Standard SIP Device.

  6. From the Door list, select the Door at which this SIP Device is located, if the panel is to be assigned to a Door. For example, if you are configuring this SIP Device for a SIP panel, this is the Door that can be opened by an operator when a call is connected at this panel.

  7. In the Device URI field, enter the uniform resource identifier (URI) that has been configured on the SIP device.

Format: sip:device logical address@device IP address:port, e.g. sip:10001010101@192.168.10.60:5060, where

10001010101 > Device Number = 1

10001010101 > Building Number = 0001

10001010101 > Unit Number = 01

10001010101 > Floor Number = 01

10001010101 > Apartment Number = 01

You can check address configurations in the Intercom tab of the device web interface.

Configuring BAS IP panel to call Gallagher Server

Be sure that SIP is disabled as the Command Centre is not a SIP server. It is an endpoint or client for peer-to-peer communication between the Command Centre & BAS-IP panels.

A call to the Gallagher server can be initiated from the concierge button, so open the BAS-IP web interface > Panel tab > Call setting section. Enable the concierge button and enter the SIP address for calling Gallagher in the following format: sip:000@ip_address (i.e. Command Centre Server IP Address or where the SIP Service has been installed).

All identifiers except Face ID, QR-Code, and Pin-Code are forwarded to the Gallagher ACS where a decision about opening the door or not is made.

Also, you can create a forwarding queue with the SIP address for calling Gallagher. In the corresponding section of the web interface, add a new forward and indicate the following info:

  • apartment number that consistes of the panel full logical address (indicated in the Panel tab);

  • forward number that is SIP address for calling Gallagher in the following format: sip:000@ip_address (i.e. Command Centre Server IP Address or where the SIP Service has been installed). Â
