The registration on the Link Cloud server can be done either through self-registration process or via the invitation. Users are given certain default roles during the self-registration.

Link Cloud server regions
There are three Link Cloud servers that correspond to three regions:

Selecting a Server Region
Users can select one of several server regions for optimal performance. The choice of server depends on the user's geographic location and affects connection speed and stability.
Europe: eu.bas-ip.link
United States: usa.bas-ip.link
Asia: as.bas-ip.link
To register, use the one start the registration process, select the server corresponding to your country of operations.
Self-registration
Initially, you can register your profile as either a dealer or a private user.

Self-Registration Process
Self-registration allows users to create an account on the platform without the need for an invitation. During registration, the user selects a regional server, completes a form, and gains access to their project. This method is suitable for dealers, installers, and private users, enabling them to start working immediately.

Self-registration as a distributor
To become the distributor, you need to self-register a dealer profile first, and after you register, contact the sales team that will assist you in becoming a distributor.
When registering the name of the object, we suggest using your company’s real name to make it easier to identify your business.
Registration via invitation
The distributors can invite dealers with the help of user management tab on the server. Dealers can invite concierges and users using that same tab. To invite users, do the following:

Distributor Registration Process
Registering as a distributor in the BAS-IP Link Cloud system involves two steps: initial registration as a dealer and subsequent role modification through the sales department. This ensures proper account setup and integration of the distributor into the workflow.
After registering as a dealer, inform your BAS-IP sales manager about your intention to become a distributor.
Provide the manager with the following information:
The email used during registration.
A brief description of your company.
The manager will review the provided details and forward the request to an engineer to update your role.
Once the request is processed, you will receive confirmation of the completed process from your manager.
Registration via invitation
Administrators in the BAS-IP Link Cloud system, such as distributors, dealers, and installers, can invite users by creating accounts for them and assigning appropriate roles. This process helps efficiently organize access to projects, whether managing dealers, residents, or other participants. This section outlines the steps for adding new users and assigning their roles within the system.
How a Distributor Can Register a Dealer
Distributors can invite new dealers and link their accounts to the appropriate projects. To invite a dealer, you need to create a user and fill in all the required information.

If required, select a marker for the user.
If necessary, enter the user address.
Add a user (with the help of the search button) to a corresponding groupor create a new one for this user (with the help of the plus icon).
Select (with the help of the search button) from already added or create access restrictions. After clicking the plus icon you will be redirected to the corresponding tab where it is possible to create restrictions.
Select (with the help of the search button) the identifier/s available for the user.
Be sure that the Send registration invitation option is enabled.

Completing Dealer Registration
After adding a new user, an email with instructions for completing the registration will be sent to the provided address.
Follow the link in the email to open the registration completion form.
Create and enter a password, then confirm it.
Review the terms of use and accept them.
Click the Register button to complete the registration process and gain access to the system.

Once registration is complete, you will be automatically redirected to the Link platform.
How a Distributor or Dealer Can Register Users
As a dealer or distributor, you can add users to a project or group with assigned roles (e.g., concierge, user, or custom roles). This helps efficiently organize access to the system and distribute permissions according to their responsibilities.
