The registration on the Link Cloud server can be done either through self-registration process or via the invitation. Users are given certain default roles during the self-registration.

See Profiles for more information on the default roles and their relation to one another.

Link Cloud server regions

There are three Link Cloud servers that correspond to three regions:

To register, use the one corresponding to your country of operations.

Self-registration

Initially, you can register your profile as either a dealer or a private user.

To self-register, do the following:

  1. Go to your Link Cloud server and click Register in the login screen

  2. Pick your user type from the dropdown menu: Dealer/installer or Private user

  3. Provide your full name

  4. Provide the name of the object; A group with the same name will be created automatically and the user will become its administrator

Dealers should use their company’s actual name to make it easier to identify their businesses by server administrators and support. Private users should use the name of their housing complex. administrative or business entities that will use the system.

  1. Specify the email address, create and confirm the password and accept the terms & conditions,

  2. Check your email for the confirmation letter sent; confirm the registration either following the link in the letter or pasting the confirmation code from the email into the registration form; you may also scan the QR-code from the letter to log into your new profile from the Link mobile app

  3. On your first login to the server, the pop-up will appear including the QR-codes to the mobile apps

Dealers/installers and users are given site administrator and user profiles, respectively.

Self-registration as a distributor

To become the distributor, you need to self-register a dealer profile first, and after you register, contact the sales team that will assist you in becoming a distributor.

When registering the name of the object, we suggest using your company’s real name to make it easier to identify your business.

Registration via invitation

The distributors can invite dealers with the help of user management tab on the server. Dealers can invite concierges and users using that same tab. To invite users, do the following:

  1. Open the User tab of the User management section.

  2. Click the plus icon in the left low corner.

  3. Enter a user name.

  4. Add a user photo if necessary.

  5. Select the profile from created to give the user the required permissions.

  6. Enter the user email to send the registration link.

  7. Enter user phone number if necessary. 

  8. If required, select a marker for the user.  

  9. If necessary, enter the user address.

  10. Add a user (with the help of the search button) to a corresponding groupor create a new one for this user (with the help of the plus icon).

  11. Select (with the help of the search button) from already added or create access restrictions. After clicking the plus icon you will be redirected to the corresponding tab where it is possible to create restrictions.

  12. Select (with the help of the search button) the identifier/s available for the user. 

  13. Click the Save button in the left low corner when all necessary data is entered.

  14. Be sure that the Send registration invitation option is enabled.
