Opening the lock

After the UKEY identifier is added to the app and the entrance panel memory, it can be used to open the lock.

To open the lock using the UKEY, you must be near the entrance panel. The distance at which the UKEY will work can be set in the reader settings using the UKEY Config app.  

There 2 ways to open the lock:

  • to activate your phone screen (if opening the lock by turning on the phone screen is enabled);

  • to open the UKEY app and press the button to open the door. We recommend using this method if more security is required.

For Android users there is additional option to open the lock using NFC instead of Bluetooth. So, user must bring the smartphone to the panel reader.
