Profiles

The app allows you to use several accounts or log into different servers. In this menu, you can add a profile and configure some settings. Thus, you can have several profiles with different rights on different servers, which makes it convenient to use the application if there are several property objects.

You can enter the menu by swiping to the right or pressing the burger button in the upper left corner.

How to add a new profile 

  1. Press the Plus button in the upper right corner of the screen.

  1. Tick I agree with a private policy. To read the policy follow the link

  1. There are two ways to proceed with the registration:

  • to scan the QR code from the invitation email;

  • to enter the Link server domain manually, press Next and enter the Activation code from the invitation email. To confirm data, press Next once again;

 

  1. Create and confirm or enter a password for your Link account. 

  1. Press Send to enter this account.

After successful registration/authorization, the profile will be added to the app.

How to edit a profile  

By tapping a profile card you have access to the following options:

  • editing profile name

  • adding UKEY identifier

  • adding Face identifier

  • inviting family members (new users)

  • subscribe to family members actions

  • changing the password

  • configure calls redirection

  • reading info about the company

  • logging out

 

To change the user name press Edit in the upper right corner. Then enter the new name and press Save. Add your address information for its display in the guest pass (if this field is empty, the app will display the address from the Link server structure). In this tab, there is also an option to delete the profile.   

How to add a UKEY identifier 

This identifier type is used for lock opening via Bluetooth and with panels supporting such key.

Residents of apartments and residential complexes should contact the management company to get the UKEY.

To add the identifier to the app complete the following steps:

  1. Open the Identifier tab from the profile menu.

  2. Scan the QR code of the UKEY identifier.

  3. Press Confirm. 

In case of a successful addition, its number will appear in the Identifier menu.

How to add a Face identifier

This identifier type is used for panels that support Face IDs (have FB abbreviation in the name). To add the identifier to the app:

  1. Open the Face ID tab from the profile menu.

  2. Select whether you want to take a photo at the moment or select one from the photo album.

  1. Provide access to the camera or album and depending on your choice take your photo or select a previously made one. If you are taking a photo, press Use photo when it is ready.

For accurate recognition, it is necessary to import a full-face photo, where the face occupies about 80% of the space. The image must be:

  • with a neutral background;

  • with a well-lit face; 

  • with real face proportions. 

As a result, your photo is added to the server and devices memory and you can open the door with the face.

You can delete your current Face ID and add a new one if required.

How to add a family member

You can invite up to 5 family members to share the functions of the app. Family members get the same rights as the one who invited them but cannot invite/remove other users.

To invite a user to the family, you must:

  1. Press Family in the profile tab.

  2. Press the Plus button in the upper right corner of the screen.

  1. Enter the new user first and last name.

  2. Enter the user e-mail.

  3. Check the data and send an initiation by pressing the corresponding button.

As a result, this user will appear in the Family member menu.  If a user has not accepted the invitation, a corresponding icon will be displayed. So, the new user must register on the server by invitation from the mail.  

You can remove a family member by swiping the card left and pressing the delete button.

How to subscribe to tracking your family members actions

Each family member can subscribe to other members actions. For example, if you subscribe to your child's’s actions, you receive notifications when these actions are performed. In the Action subscription section, you can select the user you want to track and the actions you want to be notified about.

You can track the following actions:

  • opening the door with the identifier

  • opening the door from the Places menu of the application

  • opening the door during a call

  • when the guest identifier provided by the user (you subscribed to) is used

To subscribe to family member actions, you must press the action you want to configure and enable the notification for the user. You can select various users for various actions.

How to change your account password 

  1. Open the Change password tab from the profile menu.

  2. Enter the Activation code that will be automatically sent to your email.

  3. Create a new password and confirm it. 

How to configure call forwarding from your devices

Forwardings can be created automatically for your apartment and include all your devices and apps of family members. In this section, you can configure the following parameters of the call forwarding:

  • add/remove users within a queue for these contacts to receive a call if the previous users have not responded

  • add/remove queues to determine the order of call forwarding

  • change queues order

In the section, you have a list of apartments available for your configuration and you can enable or disable the call forwarding for these apartments.

Press the apartment name to check the forwarding settings and edit to change them.

Use the plus and minus buttons to add or remove uses. Press the corresponding button to add a new queue. To change the queue order, press and hold the burger button, then drag the queue to the desired position.

About the company

In this section, all information about the company is displayed. Admin can provide company logo, name, address, and contacts in the Whitelabel tab of the Link web interface.
