Calling Logic Between the Panel and Monitors

To make a call between the entrance panel and an indoor video entry phone (monitor) by pressing the button of the required apartment or entering its number, the panel and the monitor must have the same building and unit values in the apartment settings.
For monitors, you must also specify the corresponding floor, apartment, and device number.

If no monitor is available, it is turned off, or the required apartment settings are missing, you must create forward queues to redirect calls to IP addresses or SIP numbers.

During a call, the entrance panel checks its forwarding queue only when it cannot find any monitors that match the entered building, unit, floor, and apartment values.

If you want to enable forwarding from the beginning, without searching for a corresponding monitor via the internal protocol, you need to set different logical addresses for the panel and the monitor.
For a detailed explanation of correct logical address configuration, refer to the Forwarding from the entrance panel article.

Two forwarding modes are available:

  • all at once

The call is made to all numbers in the queue simultaneously.

  • one by one

The call is made to the numbers sequentially with a 20-second delay for each attempt.

Forwarding works correctly whether the queue contains P2P numbers, SIP numbers, or a mix of both.

How to Make a New Forward Queue

  1. Log in to the panel

Log in to the entrance panel web interface using the admin username and the password you created when first setting up the device or after a factory reset.

  1. Open the Forward tab

Navigate to Forward → New Forward.

  1. Enter the Apartment Number

The apartment number consists of two values combined:

  • floor number

  • apartment number

Examples:

  • 223 → apartment 23 on the 2nd floor

  • 101 → apartment 01 on floor 01
(a leading zero may be omitted when entering)

If you want to create forwarding for apartment 50 on the 10th floor, the correct entry is:

1050

This number is used when entering the apartment on the panel: once entered, the corresponding forwarding queue will work.

  1. Enter Forward Number(s)

You can enter up to 8 numbers in one forwarding queue.

Calls may be forwarded via:

  • P2P (direct SIP)

  • SIP server registration

P2P Formats

  • 192.168.1.65 — IP address of the SIP client (softphone or device)

sip:192.168.1.65

Where:

  • 192.168.1.65 — IP address of the SIP client

Format for SP-02 handset:

sip:192.168.1.99

SIP Server Format

Full format:

sip:5588@us.sip.bas-ip.com
Where:

Short format:

5588
(“sip:” and server address are optional if the server is already set in SIP account settings)

☝️ All SIP numbers in one queue must be registered on the same SIP server.

  1. Save the Queue

Click Confirm to save the forwarding rules.

Forwarding will work correctly even if the queue contains both P2P and SIP numbers.
