Calls and forwarding configuration

You make calls from the monitor with the help of the phonebook and forwarding feature.

How to make a call from the monitor to other user devices?

Beforehand you need to add SIP numbers to the contacts.

1. Open the Call menu of the monitor.

2. Go to Contacts.

3. Find the necessary contact and press the call button.

For correct functioning, the SIP number from contacts and on the BAS-IP Intercom app must be linked to the same SIP server. Also, this server must correspond to a country indicated in the app.

1. Log in to the main monitor web interface. By default, the username is admin, and the password is 123456.

2. Open the Intercom tab and find the Calls forward part.

3. Enter Forward Number (directions for call forwarding).

You can use 2 formats for numbers:

  • Format for internal calls: sip:1@192.168.1.65, where 1 is any number, 192.168.1.65 is the IP address of the monitor;

  • Format for SIP calls: sip:5588@us.sip.bas-ip.com, where 5588 is the SIP number of the device being called, us.sip.bas-ip.com SIP server address.

4. Save this forward queue by clicking Confirm.

If necessary, you can delete one or all of the numbers.
