Link mobile app

Link is a mobile application designed to manage the features of the BAS-IP Link system. It provides users with an intuitive interface for accessing settings and devices, enabling efficient interaction with the system in both its basic configuration and with advanced features.

Registration

The registration process allows you to create an account to access the BAS-IP Link system and its features. Registration is done in a few simple steps and requires a minimal set of data.

  1. Download the Link app and open it.

  2. On the welcome screen, click New user.

  1. Tick I agree with a private policy. To read the policy follow the link

  2. Click Select region and choose your region based on your location.

  1. Select the required region based on your location

  1. Fill in all the required information in the opened form:

    • Enter the name of your object.

    • Enter your name.

    • Provide a valid email address.

    • Create and confirm a password.

  2. Click Next to proceed.

Before clicking Next, ensure that all entered information (name, email, object name) is correct. Errors at this stage may result in issues with account access or identification.

  1. Verify your email by entering the code sent to your inbox or by scanning the QR code using the scanner icon.

  2. Click Next.

Once the registration process is complete, you will be taken to the Link app's main screen.

Registration via Invitation

This registration method assumes that you have been manually added to the server as a user, with your details, including your email address, entered into the system. Once added, you will receive an email with further instructions to complete the registration process.

  1. Download and open the Link app.

  2. Tap I have an invitation.

  1. Tick the checkbox I agree with a private policy. To read the policy, follow the provided link

  2. Tap Select region

  1. Choose the region from which the registration request was sent.

  1. In the next window, manually enter the code sent to your email or tap the scanner icon to scan the QR code from the email.

  2. Tap Next.

  1. In the next window, you will see your details that were added during the server registration process.

  2. Create a password and enter it in the appropriate fields.

  3. Tap Next to complete the registration.

After completing the process, you will be taken to the main screen of the Link app.

Authorization

Authorization allows you to access a previously created account and use all available features of the Link system. The login process is simple and requires you to provide your credentials.

  1. Open the Link app.

  2. Tap Login.

  1. Tap Select region

  1. Choose the region where your account was previously created.

  1. Enter your email address and password.

  2. Tap Login to complete the authorization process.

Licenses

The functionality of licenses in the mobile app is fully aligned with their operation on the web platform. All permissions granted to the user will be accessible in both interfaces, while unavailable features will not be displayed. In this section, we will take a closer look at the visual differences between license types and analyze their features.

License Types

Basic provides a limited set of features, including two SIP numbers and the ability to install the Link app on two mobile devices. The license is activated automatically when a device is added to the apartment and requires no additional actions from the user.

Plus offers expanded access to the app's features and is issued manually by the administrator for a group or specific apartment. The license is activated through the BAS-IP Link system by specifying parameters such as the number of SIP numbers, mobile devices, and UKEY2 licenses. This license unlocks additional features, such as remote door opening, resource booking, elevator control, Siri integration, and more.

Basic license

After adding a device to the Appartments section, a basic license is automatically issued to your apartment. The app begins to display connected devices on the main screen.

Main Screen

Once the basic license is activated and a device is added, the main screen of the app shows information about the connected devices. At the top of the screen, details of the apartment are displayed, including the project name, building, floor, and apartment number.

Below, a list of devices, such as Monitor #1, is shown with options to manage or view details.

App navigation is available through the bottom tabs:

  • Places — to view connected devices.

  • Calls — to manage calls.

User Parameters

The Parameters section provides access to account settings and functions under an active basic license. It displays user information, including the name and linked email address, as well as the following options:

  • Identifier — view or modify the user identifier.

  • Face ID — configure quick app access using Face ID.

  • Change password — change the account password.

  • Call forwarding — manage call forwarding to other numbers.

  • Subscription — view the current subscription and its status.

At the bottom of the screen, the Exit button is available for logging out of the account.

These functions provide a basic level of account management and interaction with the BAS-IP Link system, aligned with the capabilities of the basic license.

Plus license

Main Screen

After activating the Plus license and adding a device to the apartment, the main screen of the app displays information about the connected devices. At the top of the screen, apartment details are shown, including the project, building, block, floor, and apartment number.

Below, a list of devices, such as Monitor #1, is displayed with options to view or manage them via the corresponding icon.

The app navigation is expanded and includes the following bottom tabs:

  • Places — to view connected devices.

  • Passes — to manage guest passes.

  • Bookings — to book resources.

  • Calls — to manage calls.

The Plus license significantly enhances functionality, offering additional features directly accessible from the app's main screen.

User Parameters

With an active Plus license, the Parameters section provides enhanced options for managing the profile and app functions:

  • Identifier — view or modify the user identifier.

  • Face ID — configure quick app access using Face ID.

  • Family — manage family members by adding users for shared access to app features.

  • Action subscriptions — configure notifications about system events and actions.

  • Change password — change the account password.

  • Call forwarding — manage call forwarding to other numbers.

  • Subscription — view the current subscription and its features.

  • About company — information about the company and its services.

The Plus license significantly enhances user capabilities, providing access to family management, event settings, guest passes, and resource booking, making the app suitable for more complex tasks.

Each parameter of the Plus license can be configured individually, allowing it to be enabled or disabled as needed. The display of available features for the user directly depends on the permissions granted and the project settings.

Checking the status of licenses

To view information about your license in the Link app, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Link app.

  2. Tap the three horizontal lines in the top left corner.

  1. Navigate to the My profiles section.

  1. Select and tap the desired profile.

  1. Go to the Subscription section.

  1. The opened window will display your license type and the number of resources used.
