How to limit the number of SIP number and mobile application licenses available for a group?
Prevent license overuse by setting group limits for SIP numbers and mobile applications. This way, you can control how many licenses are available to users within each group.
To limit licenses for a group:
Go to User Management → Object Groups:
Click ADD OBJECT → Add a company to create a new group;
or open ••• → Edit next to an existing one.
Make sure the Enable restrictions checkbox is selected.
Click Add New License and configure the available license types.
Specify the license settings:
Number of licenses — total allowed for the group;
License type — Plus or Basic paid;
(Optional) License validity period — use the Valid from and Valid until fields to define the active date range.
After the Valid until date, SIP calls and mobile app use will be blocked. Once the period is extended, functionality is restored. Push notifications may not be delivered if the server is not connected to the BAS-IP push service.
Click 💾 Save icon in the lower-right corner to apply the changes.
After applying group-level restrictions:
You can assign personal licenses to users within this group.
If the license count is exceeded, users won’t be able to create new virtual numbers or use the mobile app beyond the specified limit. The number of used licenses is displayed under each license type.
